The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) in compliance with the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act developed the Carbon Reduction Strategy (CRS) in consultation with the State’s three Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs), other Stakeholders and representatives from NJDOT.
This effort was led by the Bureau of Statewide Strategies staff in the Division of Statewide Planning.
NJDOT’s CRS will support efforts to reduce transportation emissions and help to identify projects and strategies to assist in reaching associated goals. NJDOT is required to update these strategies every four years.
