#TrustedInfo2022 is a non-partisan public education effort to promote election officials as THE trusted sources of election information. By driving voters directly to election officials’ websites and social media pages, we will ensure voters are getting, accurate election information and cut down on the misinformation and disinformation that can surround elections. #TrustedInfo2022 aims to highlight New Jersey’s state and local election officials as the credible, verified sources for election information.
Secretary of State Tahesha Way is New Jersey’s chief election official. She, along with other state, county and local election officials are continuously working to inform New Jerseyans about the election process, including voter registration, state election laws, voting and much more.
By turning to election officials for trustworthy information, voters can better understand the measures that go into their elections and have more faith in the integrity of the democratic process.
“We want to ensure all voters have the most accurate and up-to-date information they need to perform their civic duty through voting. The public can help in that effort by only sharing election information from trusted sources, and promoting #TrustedInfo2022 within their networks and communities.” - New Jersey Secretary of State Tahesha Way.
